Sven Liesy's CV

Sven Liesy Sven Liesy, a 36-year-old Neo-Expressionist artist from Hanover, is distinguished by his sensational, one-of-a-kind works, which are characterized by shimmering colors, unique lines, and profound feelings and emotions – all despite his color blindness. Yet it is precisely this perceived handicap that lends his art an indescribable depth. His unique perspective on art has attracted media attention. Among others, the Hannoversche Allgemeine Zeitung, the Mannheimer Morgen, the Kreiszeitung, and the Neue Presse have already reported on him. He has also been featured in an article in Closeup art magazine. In addition, television reports on NDR, RTL, and H1 further contribute to his media presence. In the Hanover area, he is a highly sought-after artist who has also gained international recognition for his art and has already had several exhibitions to his name. In addition to numerous smaller exhibitions, his work has been featured at venues such as Jupiter in Hamburg, the Popup Store in Hameln, Kunstladen Hannover, the Hong Art Museum in China, Red Dot Miami, Casa del Arte in Spain, and ARTe in Osnabrück. Furthermore, he has been nominated for the European Art Prize in Italy and the Prize Art in Paris and is represented by Galerie K43 in Hanover. Social projects are also close to his heart. In his old hometown of Ludwigshafen, he participated in an art camp at the youth center to introduce children and young people to the beauty of art. A week-long art workshop for children and young people is even planned there for October.
